Report: Customs collect 117 bln rbl from flexible export duties

MOSCOW, Dec 18 (PRIME) -- The Federal Customs Service has collected about 117 billion rubles with flexible currency rate export duties since October 1, interim head of the authority Ruslan Davydov said on Monday.

"I think the burden on the business is small. Starting from October 1, we have collected about 117 billion rubles of payments under these solutions," Davydov said.

The government introduced the flexible export duties tied to the ruble rate on a wide range of goods from October 1 until the end of 2024.

Depending on the ruble rate, the duties for the majority of goods range between 4% and 7%. If the ruble falls below 80 rubles per U.S. dollar, the duties amount to zero.
